AI-powered creative coding
My ability to create on the internet is now only limited by my creativity, not my technical skills.
As a non-coder, I’ve long dreamed of creating interactive, engaging web projects. For years, I cobbled together solutions using no-code tools like Zapier, Airtable, Softr, and various website builders. Yet, these tools often felt rigid and limited compared to traditionally coded counterparts—they just weren’t as dynamic or interactive.
Now, with AI-powered development tools like Bolt and Lovable, that dream is finally coming to fruition.
In just a few weeks, I’ve brought a wide array of creative projects to life, including:
My creative potential online is now limited only by my imagination—not by my technical skills.
My streamlined creation process looks like this:
Idea Generation: I brainstorm and record ideas in Apple Notes.
Prototyping: I pick an idea and start prototyping with Bolt.
Evaluation: If the build process aligns with my vision, I continue; if not, I pause the project.
Deployment: Once I have a version 1 prototype, I deploy it to Netlify via Bolt’s integration.
Feedback: I share the project with a few friends to gather feedback.
Iteration: I either leave the project as is or continue refining it through subsequent versions.
This process—transitioning directly from idea to prototype to a live version without relying on traditional IDEs or elaborate Figma designs—feels more like sketching on paper than conventional development. It’s an approach that excites me about the future of the internet and the new possibilities for creativity on the web.
